High amongst the hot topics of the day is the role of AI in our society. While there are many potentially amazing upsides to this technology, there are equally potentially devastating consequences.

I'm going to refrain from offering a dissertation on my complex nuanced opinion in this space. That would be the topic for another book. Suffice it to say that while I used AI to assist in illustrating the book, I am hardly an AI evangelist.

In fact, I am reminded of the late great comedian George Carlin, who once said "Some people see the glass as half full. Others see the glass as half empty. I see glass as too large!"

For that reason, I feel it is imperative that this industry be closely regulated, for the "glass" is way too vast to go unchecked. All the more reason it is imperative to elect responsible leaders to legislate these regulations.

That makes the message of this book too important to be dismissed by those who have chosen to boycott anything containing AI generative imagery.

While I wholeheartedly respect those who have chosen that path, I have created a text only version of The Nut With a Gut. Currently, it is available exclusively here on this site as a PDF ebook. The print edition should be available in the near future.

Rest assured, the rhyming stanzas were written entirely by me, the author. My only reason for utilizing AI was to create the imagery that I am both financially and physically incapable of producing as a self publishing author.
